Ferrari reports 2027 production capacity for Luce EV is fully allocated
Ferrari has confirmed that its debut electric vehicle, the Luce, is sold out through 2027. Despite early public backlash over its design, demand remains consistent.

During the company’s third-quarter earnings call, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna announced that the entire production run for the Luce, the manufacturer’s first electric vehicle, is fully allocated for 2027. With a base price starting at approximately $615,000, the vehicle is scheduled for its first customer deliveries in the final quarter of 2026.
The vehicle faced significant criticism and public skepticism upon its unveiling in May, an event that caused a temporary dip in Ferrari’s share price. Despite this reaction to the design—led by former Apple executive Jony Ive—the company reports that production capacity is exhausted, with new buyers now facing a minimum wait time of one year.
Ferrari has not disclosed specific production targets for the model. However, market reports suggest the company plans to produce approximately 500 to 600 units annually, reaching 2,500 units by 2030. Management noted that current demand is balanced across various geographic regions, though they declined to provide a specific breakdown of the buyer profile.
