Reports indicate that sales were significantly boosted by "strong demand from China," a market where electric vehicle sales have already surged, led by domestic manufacturers like Geely, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr. The Financial Times suggests Ferrari is aiming to attract a "new generation of wealthy buyers" with the Luce, particularly in China and the Middle East.
The Luce marks Ferrari's first fully electric model and has garnered attention for its design, which was developed with Jony Ive. The vehicle's early sales performance comes after an initially bumpy rollout earlier this year.
