FiiO introduces SNOWSKY gaming DAC

FiiO has released a new audio device, the Mage gaming DAC, under its SNOWSKY sub-brand. The unit is designed with an aesthetic reminiscent of retro handheld gaming consoles and is available in three color options—green, black, and gray—retailing for 99 yuan.

The device is powered by the SPV6040D audio processor from Pulinix and incorporates a Texas Instruments OPA330 operational amplifier. Designed for performance-focused users, the DAC features high-precision metal film resistors and low-ESR tantalum capacitors. It supports PCM decoding up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 105dB.

Functionality includes eight independent audio channels and 7.1 surround sound support. Users can utilize a dedicated mobile application to access four game-specific audio presets, seven music sound effects, and a 10-band equalizer. Hardware connectivity consists of dual USB-C ports and three 3.5mm jacks, with the device supporting 60W USB PD power delivery.
