FileInvite updates document platform for complex lending operations

FileInvite has announced a full redesign of its document collection platform, specifically tailored for the complexities of commercial real estate and SBA lending. Unveiled at the NAGGL Annual Conference, the platform serves as an operational hub for lenders needing to coordinate documents across multiple parties, including banks, loan participants, and legal counsel.

This update addresses increasing industry pressure, as evidenced by data from the Coleman Report showing that SBA 7(a) loan funding times have risen by 31% since 2024. The new platform introduces "Invite Sharing," allowing different organizations to collaborate on a single, shared document request rather than relying on fragmented email chains and duplicate file versions. CEO James Sampson noted that the platform was rebuilt to reduce the rework and compliance risks associated with traditional document collection.

Technical enhancements include AI-assisted document matching, which automatically categorizes and routes submitted files, and automated scheduling for recurring loan servicing requests. Security remains a priority, with the platform maintaining SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance standards for the handling of sensitive personally identifiable information (PII).

The new architecture is the result of a two-year development cycle. By centralizing the document lifecycle from origination through to servicing, FileInvite aims to provide a more reliable and auditable environment for high-volume lending teams.
