Filene Research Institute Selects 27 Semifinalists for 2027 Test Menu

Filene Research Institute's FiLab has identified 27 semifinalist test ideas that will proceed to sponsor evaluation for its 2027 Test Menu. The organization received a record number of over 120 submissions for this year's program.

The selected group comprises 25 fintech solutions and two Discovery Tests. These advancements represent new approaches aimed at evolving the financial services landscape.

The FiLab initiative focuses on identifying and nurturing innovative concepts within the financial sector. Its goal is to provide a platform for testing and developing potentially impactful solutions.

Sponsor evaluations will determine which of these semifinalist ideas ultimately make it into the 2027 Test Menu. Those selected will have the opportunity to further develop their proposed solutions.
