The film's distribution rights have been extended, with screenings now scheduled to continue until October 12. This extension indicates strong audience engagement and sustained commercial performance since its release on August 11.
Starring popular actor Shen Teng, 'Welcome to the Dragon Restaurant' has garnered positive reception from viewers, reflected in its high ratings on platforms such as Douban, where it holds a score of 8.7 out of 10. The film is currently the fourth highest-grossing film of 2026 in China, following 'Lifelong Speed 3' which has earned over 4.4 billion yuan.
