Finago appoints Jarkko Iitiä as Managing Director for Finland
Finago has named Jarkko Iitiä as its new Managing Director for Finland, tasking him with overseeing operations and steering the company’s artificial intelligence development strategy.
Finago, a provider of financial management software, has appointed Jarkko Iitiä as its Managing Director for Finland, effective November 1, 2026. Iitiä, who previously served as CEO of Tonava Group Oy, joins the company’s leadership team to strengthen local customer relations and drive the integration of AI across the firm’s product suite.
Iitiä brings over a decade of experience in the Finnish financial software market, including prior leadership roles at Visma Netvisor. Group CEO Lars Engbork stated that Iitiä's background—having both developed accounting software and managed an accounting practice—makes him well-suited to navigate the industry's shift toward automation.
As the industry faces a transition driven by machine learning, Iitiä aims to prioritize the development of AI tools that support, rather than replace, human workflows. He emphasizes that the objective is to enable accounting offices to transition from manual processing to advisory services by embedding intelligent agents directly into daily operational tools.
Iitiä will report to Group CEO Lars Engbork and focus on scaling operations within the Finnish market while maintaining close collaboration with accounting firms and small-to-medium-sized enterprise partners.
