Finago enters Icelandic market with acquisition of software provider Regla
Finago has finalized its acquisition of Icelandic accounting software firm Regla, expanding its presence in the Nordic business software market.
Finago completed its acquisition of all shares in Regla on November 2, 2026, following the initial agreement reached on October 15. The transaction involves the purchase of the Icelandic firm from Hawk Infinity and existing minority shareholders.
Regla provides cloud-based accounting, payroll, and invoicing software, which aligns with Finago’s existing product portfolio. This move represents Finago’s formal entry into the Icelandic market, broadening its operational footprint within the Nordic region.
The acquisition reflects Finago’s ongoing strategy to increase its market share through geographical expansion. By integrating Regla’s established local systems, Finago intends to strengthen its position in the competitive regional business software sector.
