Final's New Porta Headphones Weigh Only 40 Grams
Japanese manufacturer Final has introduced the Porta headphones, designed for extreme lightness. The on-ear models weigh a mere 40 grams.

Japanese audio company Final has launched its new Porta headphones, engineered for minimal weight. The on-ear headphones tip the scales at just 40 grams, significantly lighter than many competitors.
For comparison, Marshall's recently released Milton A.N.C. headphones, also designed as compact on-ear models, weigh 200 grams. The Final Porta headphones feature a construction from a single piece of wire and are intended for use with a headband.
The headphones are now available for preorder through Final's online store, priced at 12,800 yen (approximately $80). Customers can choose between black or orange ear pads, with shipping expected to commence shortly.
Final aims to provide a lightweight and comfortable solution for users who find earbuds or clip-on headphones uncomfortable or insecure. The Porta's on-ear design, combined with its minimal weight, seeks to address this specific market need.
