Finanz Informatik (FI), headquartered in Frankfurt, has been awarded the EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) certification. This accreditation confirms that the company's environmental management measures and processes adhere to the highest European standards.
FI is a prominent German IT service provider specializing in digital solutions for the banking sector, operating as part of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, Germany's largest banking group. Achieving EMAS certification signifies a substantial recognition of FI's commitment to sustainability and efforts to minimize its environmental footprint.
In addition to its environmental management system, FI has recently released significant reports and news updates. The 2025 annual report, titled "Making Digital Banking Simple," reviews a successful year during which the company consistently advanced the digital transformation of banking in Germany.
The company has also expanded its business and partnerships, securing NBank as a new client for an integrated, comprehensive banking solution. Furthermore, FI has collaborated with Atruvia and FH Münster to launch a joint dual-study program in computer science, aimed at addressing the shortage of skilled professionals.
