Finanz Informatik expands card management features

Finanz Informatik is expanding its Card Control feature, which is part of the OSPlus_neo platform utilized by German savings banks. The tool enables customers to enable or disable specific payment functions for their debit and credit cards, including online usage, international transactions, and ATM withdrawals, directly through banking apps or web portals.

For 2024, the company is introducing several enhancements, most notably geo-blocking capabilities that allow users to restrict card usage to specific countries or regions. Other updates include streamlined processes for managing spending limits, ordering replacement cards, and overseeing digital card information.

With over 800,000 monthly uses, Card Control currently ranks as the most frequently accessed card-related process within the OSPlus_neo system. The update reflects a broader industry shift toward empowering consumers with real-time digital control over their financial assets.
