Finanz Informatik GmbH & Co. KG has released its sustainability report covering the years 2023 to 2025. The report outlines the company's initiatives and outcomes in improving its environmental footprint, social responsibility, and governance practices.
The company reported a reduction in its carbon footprint despite growth and increased usage of digital services. Its data centers, central to digital services, are powered entirely by green electricity, including from its own photovoltaic systems. Finanz Informatik has achieved EMAS validation, one of Europe's most stringent environmental standards, and is also the first German data center operator certified under the Trusted Site Energy Efficiency Standard (TSE) at maturity level 3.
Regarding social responsibility, the report highlights the company's investments in employee health, diversity, and development. Occupational health and safety are certified according to ISO 45001. Over 2,500 employees are involved in the FI sports club, and the company promotes diversity through initiatives like Queer@FI and SHE@fi, which support women in IT and leadership positions.
