Finanz Informatik rolls out multilingual digital banking for German savings banks
Finanz Informatik is expanding multilingual support across German savings banks' digital platforms to improve accessibility for non-German speaking customers.

Finanz Informatik has launched an initiative to provide multilingual online banking services for Germany's Sparkassen. As of Q3 2025, fully functional banking features are available in English, French, Turkish, Czech, and Polish. The company is using an automated, standardized package to help individual banks reduce the technical overhead associated with manual localization.
This development is part of the broader 'Fideo Smartbanking' project coordinated by the German Savings Banks Association (DSGV). While user interfaces and navigation are being adapted, legal documents and contract confirmation pages will remain in German to comply with regulatory requirements. The move reflects growing demand for banking solutions that cater to an increasingly diverse customer base.
Looking ahead, Finanz Informatik aims to integrate these multilingual capabilities into advanced self-service processes. By the first quarter of 2026, the company expects to launch standardized self-service tools for account management—including password and access recovery—in ten languages.
