Finanz Informatik (FI) presented advanced artificial intelligence solutions, including its S-KI Pilot system, at the German Savings Banks Association (DSGV) leadership conference in Berlin on January 21, 2026. The meeting focused on market trends and strategies for 2026.
At its booth, FI offered practical insights into how generative AI can support the daily operations of savings banks. Jean-Philippe Tonyigah, head of the S-KI Pilot department, described 2026 as the "year of AI opportunities" for savings banks, explaining that the adoption of AI and employee enablement for an AI-supported workplace can be achieved in three steps.
Attendees were encouraged to try out the S-KI Pilot on-site and ask questions, which FI reported was well-received. The company also highlighted the ongoing integration of AI into the "App Sparkasse," Europe's most widely used mobile banking app with over 20 million active installations.
This AI integration into the mobile app will feature an AI-powered search function and dynamic content areas that adapt to customer needs. FI's team provided demonstrations and addressed inquiries regarding these new functionalities during the event.
