Finanz Informatik's banking app wins tests

Finanz Informatik's "App Sparkasse" banking application has achieved leading positions in two significant independent tests. Both Hamburger Marktforschungsinstitut SWI Finance and Institut für Vermögensaufbau (IVA) AG evaluated the app's functionality and usability, with "App Sparkasse" emerging as the best in both comparisons.

In a comprehensive study conducted by SWI Finance on behalf of Handelsblatt, which assessed mobile banking apps from 16 financial institutions, "App Sparkasse" climbed four places, surpassing last year's winner, Deutsche Bank. The test specifically highlighted the app's extensive features.

Furthermore, in a comparison by Institut für Vermögensaufbau (IVA) AG for Capital magazine, "App Sparkasse" scored 90.6 out of 100 points, demonstrating its near-complete fulfillment of criteria. This evaluation included 33 apps from various types of banks.

As of the end of February 2024, Finanz Informatik reports that the app has 16.6 million active users, making it Germany's most widespread banking application. The company continues to enhance the app to provide Sparkasse customers with the optimal banking experience.
