Finnish Defence Forces to Acquire Over 100 Patria TREMOS Mortar Systems
Patria and the Finnish Defence Forces have agreed on the serial procurement of over 100 Patria TREMOS mortar systems. Deliveries will commence this year and continue through 2028.
Patria and the Finnish Defence Forces have finalized an agreement for the serial production of the Patria TREMOS mortar system. The deal includes over 100 systems with an option for several hundred more. Deliveries are set to begin this year and extend through 2028.
The Patria TREMOS system was developed in cooperation with the Finnish Army and the Defence Forces Logistics Command. Its purpose is to enhance the mobility and operational effectiveness of heavy mortars on the battlefield.
Prior to this serial production agreement, a pre-series batch was delivered to the Finnish Army in 2025. This contract ensures the widespread deployment of the system within the Finnish Defence Forces.
