Finnish FSA Approves WISA Group Prospectus Supplement; Lasse von Hertzen Appointed CFO
The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority has approved a supplement to WISA Group Plc's demerger and listing prospectus. Lasse von Hertzen has been appointed as the company's Chief Financial Officer.

Helsinki – The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority has on September 18, 2026, approved a supplement to the Finnish-language prospectus concerning the partial demerger and listing of WISA Group Plc. The supplement relates to the partial demerger of UPM-Kymmene Corporation (UPM).
Concurrently, Lasse von Hertzen has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of WISA Group Plc. The appointment will take effect upon completion of the demerger.
The appointment and the prospectus approval are part of UPM's planned partial demerger, which aims to spin off certain business operations into an independent publicly listed company. WISA Group Plc is the entity that will comprise these divested operations.
According to the company's statement, von Hertzen's appointment is intended to strengthen the company's leadership as it enters a new phase. WISA Group Plc's listing and the completion of the demerger are anticipated in late 2026.
