Finnmap Infra and Kreate Reach Settlement in Road Project Dispute
Solwers' subsidiary Finnmap Infra Oy and Kreate Oy have settled a dispute concerning alleged breaches of contract during the development phase of the E18 Turku Ring Road section.
Helsinki – Solwers Plc announced on August 31, 2026, that its subsidiary Finnmap Infra Oy and Kreate Oy have reached a settlement in their ongoing dispute. The disagreement centered on alleged breaches of performance obligations during the development phase of the E18 Turku Ring Road section between Kausela and Pukkila.
The matter came to light in February 2025 when Kreate filed a claim for approximately EUR 2.46 million against Finnmap Infra with the Helsinki District Court. Solwers publicly disclosed this claim on February 21, 2025.
Details of the settlement agreement have not been disclosed by either party. Both companies operate within Finland's infrastructure construction sector, with Solwers specializing in geotechnical services and Kreate offering broader services including earthworks and bridge construction.
