Fintech-AI Partnerships Central to Day 2 of GFF 2026

The Global Fintech Festival (GFF) 2026 shifted its focus on its second day from new product launches to strategic partnerships, with artificial intelligence (AI) at the heart of many developments.

Traditional banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) joined forces with new-age tech firms and fintech startups to upgrade their technology and launch new capabilities. Several new products were also showcased during the event.

Mahindra Finance expanded its partnership with AI unicorn Sarvam, focusing on voice AI integration. Sarvam's platform will now be embedded into Mahindra Finance's sales, collections, and frontline employee engagement operations across rural and semi-urban markets. The company has developed voice agents powered by Sarvam models operating across 12 Indian languages, automating reminders, debt collection, and cross-selling for loans.

Yes Bank and fintech unicorn Open launched "i-Mandate," an AI-driven platform designed to prevent recurring payment failures. The platform uses predictive analytics to identify upcoming payment risks and facilitates rescheduling or alternative payment methods. The system supports 22 languages and aims to enhance collection efficiency.

Navi partnered with IndusInd Bank to upgrade the latter's UPI payment infrastructure. A new UPI payment switch aims to improve system resilience and transaction capacity. Additionally, Gnani AI launched "Artha," a platform for the BFSI sector to automate AI-powered workflows, including loan processing and risk management. MobiKwik expanded its foreign exchange retail offering, and Xflow, in partnership with HSBC, enabled international companies to accept payments from India using local payment rails.
