Finvolve Closes First Round of Growth Stage Fund at ₹90 Crore
Finvolve, an investment arm of India Accelerator, has announced the first close of its growth stage fund at ₹90 crore. The fund will invest in growth and late-stage startups across defense, technology, energy, and consumer sectors.

Finvolve, the venture capital arm of India Accelerator, has successfully completed the first close of its growth stage fund, securing ₹90 crore (approximately $1.1 million USD). The firm expects to reach the final close of the fund within six months and continue deploying capital thereafter.
The fund is designated to back Indian startups in their growth and late stages, focusing on four key sectors: defense and aerospace, frontier and strategic technology, energy, and consumer. Finvolve aims to build a portfolio of 30 to 35 companies over the next three to four years.
"The first close allows the VC firm to build a diversified portfolio across growth and late-stage opportunities, while maintaining a disciplined approach to entry valuations, deployment and follow-on capital," said Apoorva Vora, co-founder of Finvolve. He added that the firm sees an opportunity to invest in companies that have moved beyond the early-risk phase.
Established in 2022, Finvolve is a joint venture between India Accelerator and Finolutions. The fund typically targets companies looking towards an initial public offering (IPO) for exit. Finvolve currently manages four active funds, including those for early-stage startups and a late-stage fund.
