Cedar Park, Texas – Firefly Aerospace reported record revenue of $80.9 million for the first quarter of 2026, marking a 40% increase compared to the preceding quarter. The space and defense technology firm also announced significant progress across its launch vehicle and spacecraft divisions.

Key operational highlights for the quarter included the successful completion of separation testing for its Blue Ghost Mission 2, which will deploy the European Space Agency's Lunar Pathfinder satellite. The company also completed initial interoperability tests between its Elytra orbiter and the Blue Ghost lander, designed to facilitate communication on the far side of the Moon.

On the launch side, Firefly Aerospace successfully conducted the Alpha Flight 7 mission, validating key subsystems and deploying a payload for Lockheed Martin. The company also supported Lockheed Martin on the U.S. Space Force's VICTUS DIEM mission, which involved responsive space exercises to enhance emergency launch protocols. The company also unveiled its Alpha Block II configuration, aimed at improving reliability and streamlining production.

Additionally, Firefly Aerospace was selected by the U.S. Space Force for the SciTec program under the Golden Dome initiative to support space-based interceptor development. The company also received a $109 million contract modification for its SciTec business to accelerate data center delivery and reported its systems processed thousands of threats during the Iran conflict to support warfighters.

The company is preparing for the Alpha Block II debut, having completed qualification testing for tanks and moving into the integration and test phase. Qualification of key components such as the Eclipse interstage, liquid oxygen transfer line, and Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessels (COPVs) were also completed.
