Firefox Smart Window Integrates AI and Web Information
Firefox's new Smart Window feature combines artificial intelligence with current web information, enhancing browser capabilities. It can now pull data from web pages and display sources in AI responses.

Mozilla has launched the Smart Window feature for Firefox, upgrading its AI-assisted browsing capabilities.
The update allows AI chats within Smart Window to access real-time information from the web, presenting source links alongside responses. This integration aims to improve the accuracy and transparency of AI-generated information.
Additionally, Smart Window can now automatically suggest tab groups based on user browsing habits and provide visual previews of previously visited pages when searching browsing history using natural language queries.
Demonstrations showed the AI identifying specific user queries, such as "running shoes I looked at last week," and displaying relevant visual previews from the associated websites. The feature also includes functionality to identify and close duplicate tabs, streamlining the browsing experience.
