Fireside Ventures co-founder Vinay Singh to depart
Co-founder and partner Vinay Singh is stepping down from the Indian venture capital firm Fireside Ventures after nearly ten years.

India-based venture capital firm Fireside Ventures announced on November 3 that co-founder and partner Vinay Singh will leave the organization. Singh, who helped establish the consumer-focused firm, intends to pursue professional opportunities in related industries after his decade-long tenure.
Fireside Ventures is currently in its tenth year of operations. The firm maintains a leadership structure consisting of four partners, supported by a team of 12 principals and vice presidents. The transition follows the company’s recent fundraising activity, which saw the firm secure $253 million for its fourth fund in December 2025.
The departure comes as the Indian startup ecosystem navigates a period of selective recovery. Recent market data indicates that while investment activity continues, it has become increasingly concentrated, with capital often directed toward fewer, larger funding rounds rather than widespread distribution.
