The competition format involved 3-on-3 matches where humanoid robots demonstrated soccer skills such as passing and shooting. The tournament was divided into two main categories, A and B, and included stages like pre-competition training, group matches, and knockout rounds. Winners were determined for first, second, and third place in each category.
Organizers highlighted the tournament as a valuable platform for students to apply their knowledge and enhance teamwork. Participants reported enjoying the challenges of programming and coordinating their robots. Officials stated that such events foster curiosity and encourage rapid adoption of relevant technologies driven by competitiveness.
The event was organized by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and hosted by entities including the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University. Winning teams will be recommended for participation in the U19 categories of the World Robot Games.
