First Graphene and Aeropreg to Develop Graphene-Enhanced Carbon Fibre
First Graphene has signed an agreement with Aeropreg to develop graphene-enhanced carbon fibre prepreg. The three-year deal builds on previous development work.

Australian company First Graphene has entered into a three-year development and commercialisation agreement with global prepreg manufacturer Aeropreg. The partnership aims to develop and commercialise graphene-enhanced carbon fibre prepreg materials.
The agreement follows positive results from First Graphene's prior development efforts, which involved incorporating its PureGRAPH® graphene products into carbon fibre prepregs. The objective is to enhance material properties and manufacturing processes.
Aeropreg, a subsidiary of the Toray Group, specialises in the production of polymer composites. This collaboration is expected to accelerate the market introduction of advanced graphene-enhanced composites for industries such as aerospace and automotive.
First Graphene CEO Michael Effing stated that the agreement marks a significant step in the company's commercialisation strategy and reinforces its position in the graphene sector. The collaboration with Aeropreg is anticipated to deliver substantial value to customers through improved material solutions.
