First Horizon Bank Appoints New Leadership in Cookeville and Sparta

First Horizon Bank has appointed new leaders for its Cookeville and Sparta, Tennessee branches, signaling a strengthening of its executive presence in the Upper Cumberland Region.

John Hanson has been named Market President for Cookeville. Hanson brings over two decades of experience in commercial banking, small business lending, and credit analysis. In his new role, he will oversee market strategy and community investments.

Mandy Mathis has been appointed Vice President, Private Client Banking Relationship Manager in Cookeville. Mathis, a 20-year veteran of First Horizon Bank, most recently served as the manager of the Cookeville Main Banking Center. She will now focus on delivering tailored financial solutions for high-net-worth clients.

Sherry Maybury, with over 40 years of banking experience, has been named Cookeville Main Banking Center Manager. She previously led the Sparta market as Banking Center Manager and will now manage the retail team in Cookeville, focusing on service excellence.

Jennefer Willard has been promoted to Sparta Banking Center Manager. Willard brings over 30 years of retail and client service experience and has been with First Horizon Bank since 2022. She is tasked with strengthening client relationships and leading the Sparta team.
