First Horizon Bank Recognized with United Way of the Mid-South Trailblazer Award
First Horizon Bank has been honored with the inaugural Community Trailblazer Award by United Way of the Mid-South, recognizing its significant corporate partnership. The award was presented in July 2026.

First Horizon Bank announced in July 2026 that it has received the inaugural Community Trailblazer Award from the United Way of the Mid-South (UWMS). The bank was one of three corporate partners to be honored with this new distinction, which acknowledges exemplary support for the United Way's mission.
The Trailblazer Award specifically recognizes corporate partners for their substantial contributions through associate campaigns, corporate giving, fundraising efforts, and volunteerism. First Horizon Bank's long-standing relationship with UWMS includes not only financial contributions but also significant employee engagement in volunteer activities and representation on the organization's board.
"We're honored to be recognized for the dedication of our company and associates to United Way," said Bo Allen, Mid-South Regional President for First Horizon Bank. "We believe sustainable community impact happens when businesses, nonprofits and our broader community work together to improve lives, build opportunities and strengthen neighborhoods across Memphis."
Tomeka Hart Wigginton, President & CEO for United Way of the Mid-South, highlighted the depth of First Horizon Bank's commitment. She noted that the bank's support extends beyond employee giving and corporate sponsorship to include year-round employee volunteerism and board representation, making them a deserving recipient of the inaugural award.
