Nordic hotel chain First Hotels has implemented Finago Office to unify its financial management and enhance decision-making across its properties.
The Nordic hotel chain First Hotels has successfully consolidated its financial operations by implementing Finago Office. Previously, the company managed ten subsidiaries using disparate systems, leading to inconsistent processes and limited oversight.
With the new system, First Hotels has eliminated manual data collection and gained real-time insights across all its properties. This marks a significant improvement from the previous scenario where, according to CFO Sepideh Carlsson, considerable time was spent manually gathering and verifying figures.
"Before we implemented Finago Office, we managed ten subsidiaries across different systems and lacked a common structure. Much time was spent manually collecting data and ensuring figures were accurate, which made it difficult to work proactively or make quick decisions," Carlsson stated.
The implementation enables more efficient and strategic management through centralized and up-to-date financial data, supporting First Hotels' goals for operational effectiveness and growth management in the Nordic market.
