Fixify Report: Agentic AI Reshaping IT Operations
A new Fixify report analyzing nearly 18,000 agentic AI plans reveals AI now handles one in three IT actions in organizations that have adopted AI automation.

Arlington, Virginia – Fixify, a provider of AI-native IT automation, published its "How agentic AI is changing IT" report on Tuesday. The analysis, which examined nearly 18,000 agentic AI plans, found that artificial intelligence is now performing, on average, one out of every three IT actions within organizations that have implemented AI automation.
The report indicates that agentic AI systems have evolved beyond automating simple tasks to managing more complex IT governance functions. These include responsibilities such as troubleshooting, system maintenance, and security protocols, thereby freeing up IT personnel for more strategic initiatives.
Fixify's research highlights the capability of agentic AI to learn and adapt continuously within dynamic IT environments. The report notes that AI agents can autonomously identify issues, devise solutions, and execute them across IT infrastructure, often with reduced need for constant human oversight.
The findings suggest that the adoption of agentic AI is transitioning from a future concept to a present reality for many organizations, poised to significantly alter the operational landscape of IT departments in the coming years.
