Broad Arrow Auctions has announced the consignment of the Fleischman Collection, comprising 28 significant motor cars, for its upcoming Monterey Jet Center Auction on August 18. Notably, the majority of the collection will be offered without reserve, drawing attention from collectors and enthusiasts.

The collection belongs to William "Bill" Fleischman, a noted Southern California businessman and philanthropist, who spent three decades assembling this curated selection of post-war sports and grand touring cars. The vehicles represent a broad spectrum of automotive history, including marques such as Ferrari, Porsche, Ford, and Mercedes-Benz.

Key highlights from the Fleischman Collection include a 2012 Lexus LFA Nürburgring Edition, a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, a 1988 Porsche 959 Komfort, and a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL "Gullwing" Coupe. Fleischman stated that while parting with the collection was difficult, he wishes for others to experience the enjoyment he has derived from these vehicles.

David Swig, Partner and Senior Car Specialist at Broad Arrow Auctions, expressed his excitement in representing the collection, calling it a cornerstone of their inaugural Monterey auction. The sale is positioned as a significant event within the Monterey Car Week festivities.
