Flightright vs. Fairplane: Which Compensation Provider Is Better?

Flightright, a firm advocating for passenger rights, has published a comparison of its services against those of Fairplane, asserting its superior position in the flight compensation sector. The comparison highlights differences in experience, customer volume, and financial outcomes.

According to Flightright's data, the company has over 16 years of experience, assisting more than 12 million passengers and recovering over 700 million euros in compensation. In contrast, Fairplane is presented as having 15 years of experience and having helped approximately 400,000 passengers, with recovered compensation totaling 17.4 million euros.

The service fees also differ. Flightright charges a success fee of 32.13% including VAT, with an additional 14% lawyer's fee plus VAT for cases requiring court proceedings. Fairplane's commission ranges from 24% to 35% including VAT. Flightright also claims a faster processing time of 3-4 weeks for out-of-court cases, compared to Fairplane's 4-10 weeks.

Flightright emphasizes its pioneering role in passenger rights and its market leadership, citing awards and customer satisfaction ratings as evidence of its effectiveness. The firm aims to inform travelers about these distinctions when choosing a service for compensation claims related to flight delays or cancellations under EU Regulation 261/2004.
