Flipkart-backed super.money triples revenue to ₹292 crore amid rising losses

Launched by Flipkart in 2024, fintech startup super.money reported an operating revenue of ₹292.4 crore for the 2026 fiscal year, up from ₹88.8 crore in FY25. Despite this growth, the company's net loss expanded to ₹263.8 crore, a 78.5% increase from the previous year’s figure of ₹147.8 crore.

The firm's revenue is heavily supported by its loan marketplace business, which accounted for approximately 84.7% of its total earnings. Beyond facilitating UPI transactions, where it currently ranks as one of the top five players in India, the startup has expanded its operations to include fixed deposit bookings and co-branded credit card distribution through bank partnerships.

Expenditure surged by 130% year-on-year to reach ₹557.1 crore. Marketing remained the primary driver of these costs, totaling ₹341 crore, while employee benefits rose to ₹138.1 crore. Led by CEO Prakash Sikaria, the company continues to invest heavily in customer acquisition to secure its market position.
