Travel tech firm Flix and mobility platform Bolt are expanding their collaborative agreement to six additional European markets: France, Poland, the UK, Czechia, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. The partnership aims to streamline intermodal travel by linking long-distance bus routes with local urban transportation.

Under the terms of the deal, FlixBus passengers who are new to the Bolt platform are eligible for a 30% discount on their first two ride-hailing trips. Conversely, existing Bolt users can access a 10% discount on FlixBus bookings. These promotional offers are scheduled to run through December 10, 2026.

Mykhailo Kudla, Global Head of Distribution at Bolt, stated that the expansion addresses consumer demand for flexible and affordable travel options. Alexander Schlüter, VP of Marketing and Customer Product at Flix, added that the collaboration is intended to improve the overall passenger experience by facilitating easier transitions between transport modes.

The initiative is designed to encourage the use of shared transport networks rather than private car ownership, addressing the 'first and last mile' challenge common in long-distance travel.
