Global travel tech company Flix has launched in Australia, opening ticket sales for its services and marking a significant step in its international expansion. The move brings Flix's presence to 45 countries across five continents.
Operations are set to begin on November 20, 2025, with an initial network connecting major cities in southeast Australia, including Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney. This route covers one of the country's busiest travel corridors and includes airport stops for traveler convenience.
"This launch reflects how our scalable tech platform and partnership model enable sustainable growth across continents," said André Schwämmlein, CEO and Founder of Flix. He highlighted the company's commitment to a long-term, sustainable presence in every market entered.
The Australian network deployment aligns with Flix's strategy of building scalable, evolving networks that connect communities. The company utilizes its tech-enabled platform for network planning, dynamic pricing, and managing the digital customer experience through local partners.
Flix also announced plans to start operations in Peru by the end of 2025, which will be its fourth market in Latin America.
