Flix outlines growth strategy for 2026 with focus on network and fleet expansion
Flix plans to continue its network expansion in 2026, prioritizing underserved regions and the adoption of alternative fuels to lower fleet emissions.

Flix has announced its strategic roadmap for 2026, centering on increased connectivity and the ongoing transition of its bus fleet. Approximately one-third of the company's network currently serves towns with fewer than 20,000 residents, filling gaps in transit infrastructure where rail connections are often absent or infrequent.
Regarding fleet sustainability, Flix reports that nearly 120 coaches currently utilize alternative drives, such as electric or biofuel powertrains. This represents a 30% increase compared to 2024. These efforts align with the company’s targets under the Science-based Targets initiative (SBTi), which aims for significant decarbonization by 2032.
In addition to operational updates, the company received an award from EUPD Group for its ESG reporting transparency. By adopting double materiality assessments consistent with CSRD guidelines, Flix aims to standardize sustainability disclosures across its global operations.
