Flix SE, a global mobility provider, has established Flix North America, Inc., a new entity based in Dallas, Texas. This division will oversee the operations of both FlixBus and Greyhound Lines, Inc. throughout North America, including the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The creation of Flix North America aims to increase business synergies between the two bus brands, allowing for more efficient delivery of affordable, comfortable, and sustainable transportation solutions. André Schwämmlein, Founder and CEO of Flix SE, stated that the move aligns with the company's strategy to build its global presence.

Kadir "Kai" Boysan has been appointed CEO of Flix North America. Boysan previously served as the CEO of Kâmil Koç Buses, Inc., a company Flix acquired in 2019, and brings significant experience from leading large-scale transit operations.

In related leadership changes, Greyhound Lines CEO Dave Leach, who has been with the company for over 30 years, will retire at the end of 2022. Leach will remain as a strategic advisor until his departure. Bill Blankenship, currently COO and President, will succeed Leach. Flix acquired Greyhound in the US in 2021.
