Bus operator FlixBus is launching its first routes to Finland on July 27, expanding its network to include all continental European Union countries. The new connections will link nine Finnish cities to each other and to Central Europe, beginning with a route from Warsaw, Poland, to Vaasa.

The route will travel through Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania before reaching Warsaw. This provides travelers from Finland, with a single connection, access to other European cities such as Berlin and Vienna. Within Finland, stops include Vaasa, Närpiö, Pori, Rauma, Raisio, Turku, Salo, Espoo, and Helsinki. The journey also involves a ferry crossing between Tallinn and Helsinki.

FlixBus operates through partnerships with local transport providers. Lithuanian transport company Ollex and ferry operator Tallink will manage the operations for the new Finnish route. This collaboration allows passengers to book their bus and ferry journey on a single ticket.

The company's network, now present in 41 countries, also marks three years of operation in the Baltic states since its launch in July 2020. FlixBus continues to focus on providing affordable and sustainable travel options, aiming to reduce its carbon footprint.
