FlixMobility rebrands as Flix, completes legal form change
Mobility provider FlixMobility is now known as Flix and has completed its legal transformation from a GmbH to an SE. The new umbrella brand consolidates FlixBus and FlixTrain services.

Mobility services company FlixMobility has officially shortened its name to Flix. The company has also completed its legal restructuring, transitioning from a German GmbH to a European SE (Societas Europaea). The unified Flix brand will now encompass both the company's long-distance bus and train services, FlixBus and FlixTrain.
The name change, according to the company, is intended to better highlight its core values of intelligent, sustainable, and user-friendly mobility. Flix emphasizes that enabling sustainable travel for people worldwide has always been the driving motivation behind the company's founding.
"Our DNA is green! This applies not only to our products but to the entire company," stated André Schwämmlein, CEO of Flix. He noted that the simplicity of the name is reflected in the ease of booking through the company's website or app.
Flix, which has established Europe's largest long-distance bus network, has expanded its operations to the United States, Canada, Chile, Brazil, and India. The company has also invested in sustainable transport initiatives, including the introduction of fully electric long-distance buses, biogas-powered buses, and the launch of long-distance train services in Germany.
