Despite the backlash, Flock has continued its growth. The company reportedly has 120,000 cameras deployed across the U.S. and is signing new contracts "at a rapid clip." CEO Garrett Langley has acknowledged some responsibility for misuse and introduced new operational "guardrails." Langley emphasizes that the company's mission is to create a safer society and that balancing privacy and security is crucial.
