Florida Cancer Specialists Adds Oncologist Carlos Barbur to Clinical Staff

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) has added Dr. Carlos Barbur to its oncology and hematology team. The board-certified physician will provide clinical care at the organization’s offices in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, Florida.

Dr. Barbur earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at Larkin Community Hospital. His appointment follows the organization’s ongoing effort to expand community-based cancer care services as patient demand increases.

FCS Assistant Managing Physician Dr. David Wenk stated that the addition of Dr. Barbur aims to strengthen the practice's capacity for patient-centered treatment and multidisciplinary collaboration. The organization continues to focus on integrating clinical trial access with standard oncological care across its Florida network.
