Flovi Acquires Saka Oy's Vehicle Logistics Operations, Expands Services

Vehicle logistics company Flovi announced significant business expansions at the AKL Summit event held at Finlandia Hall in Helsinki on February 13, 2025. The company has acquired Saka Oy's drive logistics operations and, under its newly rebranded name Flovi, launched a comprehensive logistics solution called "Flovi Complete" for the Finnish automotive market.

Flovi CEO Aapeli Kallunki stated that the car logistics sector is undergoing change, with customer expectations for speed and reliability constantly increasing. The company's expanded driver network is expected to significantly speed up vehicle relocations and customer deliveries. This acquisition also enables Finnish car dealerships to fully outsource their logistics operations.

The event also addressed the challenges of electrification and the rapid development of the Chinese automotive industry. Vincent Cobée highlighted the importance of EV charging infrastructure and the need for stable regulation for the transition to electric mobility. Cobée also noted China's leading position in electric vehicle development.

Bill Russo, Founder and CEO of Automobility Limited, discussed the rise of the Chinese automotive industry in the global market. According to Russo, China is now the world's largest car exporter, with vehicles evolving into digital, mobile living spaces that integrate users into their digital lives.
