Fluence Energy Faces Class Action Lawsuit Over Production Issues

Fluence Energy, Inc., a provider of energy storage solutions, is the subject of a class action lawsuit filed by shareholder rights law firm Robbins LLP. The lawsuit alleges that the company misled investors about its business prospects and its ability to complete its contract manufacturing facilities. The suit covers securities purchased between November 24, 2025, and September 16, 2026.

The complaint claims that Fluence Energy provided financial guidance for fiscal year 2026, projecting significant revenue growth and improved profitability. The company also asserted its readiness to capitalize on data center demand and stated it had secured agreements with key production facilities.

However, the lawsuit alleges that Fluence Energy failed to disclose that its ability to deliver its backlog and recognize revenue depended on new contract manufacturing facilities, some of which were not completed, operational, or capable of meeting projected volumes. The suit also contends that the company's corrective measures for production issues were ineffective and extended to new facilities.

The company's stock experienced significant declines in February and August 2026 following financial reports that highlighted production delays and reduced outlooks. In August 2026, Fluence Energy significantly cut its guidance and announced approximately $400 million in project deliveries would be delayed into fiscal year 2027. Investors who incurred losses during the specified period may be eligible to participate in the lawsuit.
