Fluence Energy Faces Securities Class Action Over Production Issues

Fluence Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLNC), a provider of energy storage systems, is subject to a pending securities class action lawsuit. The suit alleges that the company misled investors about the success of its efforts to fix production problems with contract manufacturers. The class period for the lawsuit runs from November 24, 2025, to September 16, 2026.

The lawsuit contends that promised corrective measures failed to resolve issues at Fluence Energy's contract manufacturers, and that these problems subsequently spread to new facilities. The company's stock price experienced significant declines on February 5, August 6, and September 17, 2026, following alleged disclosures. During this period, the company's fiscal year 2026 adjusted EBITDA outlook shifted from positive guidance to a substantial loss, and net losses also increased.

Fluence Energy had previously disclosed production challenges with a contract manufacturer in Arizona and stated that corrective actions were being implemented. However, the complaint alleges these measures were ineffective and the problems persisted, affecting operations at newer international and U.S. facilities. The company also had to revise its revenue guidance downwards multiple times during fiscal year 2026 due to these production delays.

The deadline to apply for lead plaintiff appointment in the case is November 27, 2026. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Law firm SueWallSt is representing investors in the matter.
