FOBA Showcases Laser Marking for Medical Technology
FOBA Laser Marking + Engraving will exhibit its laser marking solutions for the medical technology sector at the MedtecLIVE trade show in Stuttgart from May 5–7, 2026.

FOBA Laser Marking + Engraving is set to present its advanced laser marking solutions tailored for the medical technology industry at the upcoming MedtecLIVE trade show in Stuttgart, scheduled for May 5–7, 2026. The company aims to highlight systems that enhance product identification and process integrity.
The centerpiece of FOBA's exhibit will be the FOBA Workflow, a comprehensive process concept designed for maximum reliability, reproducible marking results, and stable production. This system incorporates a camera-based vision solution that facilitates automatic part recognition, product validation, and real-time inspection of markings to ensure quality.
Additionally, FOBA will showcase two next-generation laser systems. One is an ultrashort pulse laser capable of producing deep black, low-reflection, and corrosion-resistant markings with minimal material impact. This technology is suited for critical applications such as surgical instruments and demanding medical devices requiring high legibility and durability.
The second system is a compact ultraviolet (UV) laser, specifically engineered for gentle, high-contrast marking on plastics and sensitive materials. This laser can be readily integrated into FOBA marking workstations and automated production lines. FOBA, a brand of ALLTEC Angewandte Laserlicht Technologie GmbH, is headquartered in Selmsdorf, Germany, and operates as part of Veralto Corporation.
