Food Lion Foundation Awards Grant to Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County

The Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation has provided a $20,000 grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County. This funding is designated to support local families and address childhood hunger during the summer.

The grant, part of the Summers Without Hunger initiative, will assist in providing meals for children who may not have access to school-based meal programs when school is not in session. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Frederick County plans to use the funds to purchase food and sustain its feeding programs.
