Ford F-150 XLT Model Launches in Europe

Hedin US Motor, the official European importer of the Ford F-150, has introduced the new F-150 XLT model to the European market. The new model is positioned to reach a broader customer base and is available for order, with deliveries beginning in late May.

The F-150 XLT is positioned as a more accessible entry-level option within the F-150 range, while retaining its V8 power and established performance. The vehicle offers seating for up to six occupants and substantial cargo-carrying capability. This configuration is particularly advantageous in markets such as Norway and Denmark, where removing rear seats allows the vehicle to be registered as a light commercial truck.

"The F-150 XLT is an important step for us in Europe. It helps us reach more customers with a more accessible offer, while staying true to what the F-150 stands for," said Peter Morlor, Business Director at Hedin US Motor.

Key technical specifications include a 5.0-liter V8 engine producing 406 horsepower and 555 Nm of torque. The maximum towing capacity is 3,500 kg, with a payload capacity of 895 kg. The new model features a 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control, and the SYNC 4 infotainment system.

Pricing starts at €64,300 (excl. VAT). The Ford F-150 has been the best-selling pickup truck in the United States for 49 consecutive years. The model was officially introduced in Europe in 2023 and has since expanded its availability to 16 countries.
