Ford Reportedly Developing $25,000 Crossover

Ford is reportedly developing a new, more affordable crossover model with an estimated starting price of $25,000. The information emerged from leaked details provided to Ford dealers, who were shown an early prototype.
The vehicle is expected to arrive in showrooms in 2029. The new crossover is said to resemble the first-generation Ford Escape. It will be available with both hybrid and non-electrified powertrain options. Ford plans to assemble the hybrid version at its Hermosillo plant in Mexico, alongside the Bronco Sport and Maverick.
During the same presentation, a four-door Mustang model was also reportedly showcased, drawing comparisons to the Porsche Panamera in size and styling, but with an estimated price tag below $40,000.
The Fathom, Ford's anticipated affordable electric truck, will share its universal EV platform with four other upcoming Ford electric models.
