Foremay Launches Full Line PCIe SSD Drives
Foremay, Inc. has announced its full line of EC188 D-series PCI Express solid-state drive (SSD) products. The drives offer read/write speeds ranging from 400/500 MB/s up to 1.6/1.5 GB/s with capacities up to 4 TB.

Fremont, California – Foremay, Inc. has expanded its product offerings with the launch of its complete EC188 D-series PCI Express (PCIe) solid-state drive (SSD) line. The new drives are designed for servers, workstations, and desktops featuring PCIe slots.
The series provides sequential read speeds ranging from 400 megabytes per second (MB/s) to 1.6 gigabytes per second (GB/s), and write speeds from 500 MB/s to 1.5 GB/s. The maximum storage capacity reaches up to four terabytes (TB). Foremay states these drives are intended to address storage bottlenecks in demanding applications, such as servers with dense I/O operations, high-traffic loads, and high-speed computing environments.
"Market demand for PCIe interface-based solid-state drives is ever increasing," said Jason Hoover, Foremay's VP Marketing. "Foremay is glad to offer three different models of PCIe SSD drives, including models U, V, and W, tailored to different applications requiring various performance versus cost matrices."
The drives support a wide range of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. They also feature a built-in PCIe RAID controller for enhanced scalability or redundancy. Foremay announced that the EC188 D-series PCIe SSD drives are now shipping in volume.
