Foremay Ships PCIe SSD with 250,000 IOPS
Foremay, Inc. has released its EC188 D-series PCIe SSD, achieving up to 250,000 IOPS for read and write operations, with sequential read speeds up to 2.5 GB/s.
Foremay, Inc. has announced the availability of its EC188 D-series PCI Express (PCIe) solid state drive (SSD). The new drive delivers up to 250,000 IOPS (input/output operations per second) for both read and write operations, alongside sequential read speeds of up to 2.5 GB/s and write speeds of 2.3 GB/s.
The EC188 D-series is designed for servers and workstations requiring high speed and concurrent data access. Its quad bus slot configuration allows for capacities up to 8 terabytes, making it suitable for demanding applications such as cloud computing, large databases, and high-frequency trading systems.
"Our EC188 D-series PCIe solid state drives have been selected for deployment for high-end server systems in banks, security/stock exchanges, cloud computing and 3G/4G wireless multimedia centers," stated Jason Hoover, Foremay's VP Marketing.
