Foremay, Inc. has introduced new industrial-grade Solid State Drives (SSDs) engineered to perform in harsh conditions.
The latest offerings provide significant improvements in speed and durability. The company has detailed several product families, including the SC199 for high reliability, EC188 for high IOPS performance, PC166 for speed, and OC177 for integration.
A standout product is Foremay's 3U VPX rugged SSD, which utilizes NVMe/PCIe Gen 3 interfaces. It achieves speeds exceeding 6.0 GB/s and offers capacities up to 16 TB. These drives are built for extreme environments, including military, defense, aerospace, and submerged applications.
Foremay has a history of developing high-capacity and high-speed storage. In 2016, the company released an 8 TB 2.5-inch NVMe U.2 SSD. Earlier, in January 2016, Foremay launched Self-Encrypting Drives (SEDs) with crypto erase capabilities for enhanced data security.
